Distinguished Farmhouse Landscape Design

One of the many things we love at Cross River Design is a really tough landscape design challenge—and we were given one in Far Hills, New Jersey.

The tract of land chosen on which this farmhouse-style home would be built was barren save for an old lime kiln. The marriage of the new home and its landscape design required a close working relationship with the homeowners, architect and our own landscape architects.

Once our client approved the landscape design ideas. We worked with the home’s architect and created a stunning landscape: a meandering driveway and approach, as well as retaining walls that complemented the terraces, walkways and paths.

We also designed the in-ground swimming pool, pergola, a beautiful koi pond, an outdoor spa as well as an oasis of lush plants and trees.
