Each year we take the bundles of spring bulbs: Tulips, Daffodils, Crocus, Hyacinths etc. from our barn and head out to plant these little spring gems on properties throughout NJ and beyond.
Now many times we’re planting bulbs to correspond with a design we put together, but in other cases we’re following a custom plan that one of our clients created.
Recently, one of our clients handed us a sketch of a crocus bulb planting pattern laid out to resemble an orchid. The overall planting was roughly 25′ x 17′ in length, and consisted of over 1000 bulbs. We planted the bulbs in the middle of a lawn panel in the rear yard. Stay tuned for images of the orchid in full bloom next spring!
